You Need to Leverage These 5 TikTok Trends

You Need to Leverage These 5TikTok Trends Blog Post.jpg

In the previous blog posts, we talked about a lot of technical things about TikTok such as how the TikTok algorithm works, TikTok content strategy, and how to make viral TikTok content. In this article, we are going to tap into the fun part of TikTok. We will be sharing 5 viral TikTok trends that every business and brands need to leverage.

Trend #1: Hopeful for today

Life never goes exactly as planned. You can share your truth about what you planned for your business and then show audiences what really happened.

For instance, if you are a skincare company, the first part of the TikTok video can be a client trying out the skincare sample and the caption reads “I am not sure if this works but let’s give it a try”. This is when the screen turns black and white and freezes. Then multiple texts popped up after - “She did not only like the toner, she also purchased the whole skin-whitening series, she couldn’t glow brighter from the inside.”

Trend #2 Google EarthTrend

If you want to let your customers know where your physical store is and how awesome the neighborhood around is, you cannot miss this trend!

This is a quick video guide in making the Google Earth reel for your business. You can also include HD photos showcasing the neighborhood around your physical store, interior environment, products and services that you are selling, and the staff team. This can directly bring potential customers to your business.

Trend #3 Meet my friends

You have already seen some examples of how you could describe people and now you can twist this trend a little bit to introduce your team or even your list of products and services.

Keep some short videos of the staff or best-selling products, add them to your TikTok video. Introduce staff or products’ names, freeze the screen and add captions. A spa company can use this trend to showcase its services. For instance, the first part of the video would caption “Let’s see the services we offer” and every time they introduce a service, the video will freeze and they could list what the services do and benefits bring to clients.

Trend #4 Turning your DMs into quotes

In this challenge, TikTokers share their funniest, weirdest, or even nastiest DMs in the form of inspirational quotes. Yet, as a business, you can easily switch the angle from sharing DMs to sharing testimonials or even inquiries of the customers. For instance, a customer shared a bad testimonial about your mositurizer product and complained how bad it was for his/her skin type. You could take this opportunity to own the complaint, show the customer that the right moisturizer for that particular skin type and offer the customer the free product. You could potentially gain back the customer and also winning other viewers’ hearts and turning viewers into customers.

Trend #5 What I mean when I say I’m from

This trend is golden to showcase where your business or products originate from. For example, if you are a coffee bean brand that sources coffee beans from Kenya, show your audiences the harvesting processes in the coffee fields, so they will learn how organic and ethical the sources are. If you are a high-end Japanese clothing importer, show your audiences how the traditional Japanese dying processes and how well the dyed clothes are sewed with antique sewing machines by craftsmen.
