Every year we organize the Concord Pacific's Christmas Weekend for the Roundhouse Community Centre to bring smiles onto the faces of hundreds of children and their families.

Through this annual event, we gather donations that benefit afterschool programs for kids; the holidays are always about the spirit of giving, and this event allows us to contribute our part in giving back to a community. All of the activities on-site are sponsored by Concord Pacific and all donations are used for afterschool programs. Each year our team refreshes the event with new activities, coordinate all the vendors, assist with setup and tear down, and are on-site to implement the various activations.

INDOOR SANTA'S PHOTOS

Inside the Roundhouse Community Centre's Exhibition Hall, we bring together a range of festive activities to keep children busy and excited. They love when Santa makes an appearance, some running up to Santa to give him high fives while others sing a song to Santa and/or write letters to let Santa know what they want for Christmas.

Of course, we also have Santa's helper elves and Frosty the Snowman assisting in the weekend's festivities. It's heartwarming to see children run up to Frosty and give him a big hug.

This year, we added cartoon caricatures to our list of indoor activities, and many families were delighted by this addition to get a cute cartoon drawing of the entire family. The main attraction in the Exhibition Hall is definitely still our Santa's Photos, where families can get a 5x7" print photo in an elegant black folder to place over their fireplace. After organizing this event for 6 years, we are beginning to recognize quite a few families who make it a holiday tradition to get a photo at Concord's Christmas Weekend.

OUTDOOR SANTA'S WORKSHOP

Another component of this festive community event is the outdoor 20 by 30 feet tent, which houses our lit-up outdoor Santa's Sleigh photo op, balloon twisting, face painting, hot chocolate, live music and life-sized advent calendar with over 200+ prizes for kids!

Parents and their children love the variety of activities at this weekend community celebration and the fact that their donations go to support a meaningful cause to benefit afterschool programs for kids is another reason why they keep coming back to experience the event.

We want to thank Concord Pacific for engaging us and working alongside our team for the past 6 years to organize and host this community event, it's a pleasure to wrap up our year with this heartwarming event.
