Our team's role was to consult and advise on Chinese messaging, content strategy and media buy strategy, resulting in a successful campaign despite the additional noise during the busy Chinese New Year period.
Our Approach
WeChat and Weibo users are attracted by news and product announcements by world-renowned luxury brands, but the messaging and tone must be tailored for the platform to achieve above-average results.
Results
With our WeChat advertorial campaign during Chinese New Year in 2018, the Van Cleef & Arpels WeChat advertorial received over 3400 unique views and 69 shares. On the Weibo platform, our sponsored posts received 40K views compared to an average of 28K views on similar postings.
