To drive awareness of PriceSmart Foods' Chinese New Year products special promotions.

 

Our Approach

 

We crafted our WeChat campaign so it targeted WeChat channels with an older demographic that would be prospective shoppers for PriceSmart Foods. The messaging was made to be more visual, focusing on the special promotions and discount pricing shoppers would enjoy if they visit during Chinese New Year. This messaging spoke to the more price sensitive mature demographic as well.

 

Results

 

Despite Chinese New Year being the period of peak advertisement activity on WeChat, the best performing article received double the average number of views and 4 times the average number of shares.
