ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Marketing Manager and working as a peer to a team of Graphic Designers and Content Creators, you are someone who understands and can articulate brand and marketing strategies for a variety of industries. A typical day for you means leading client marketing campaigns based on data insights, background research, and a thorough understanding of clients’ business needs and objectives. You will coordinate, lead and sometimes perform some of the team’s task in creating engaging, performance-based campaigns and organic assets across multiple mediums, including but not limited to print, social media, and other digital platforms.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Market Research:

  • Conducting market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive analysis.

  • Analyzing consumer behavior and preferences to guide marketing strategies.

Campaign Development and Execution:

  • Developing and implementing advertising and marketing campaigns across various channels and languages (digital, print, social media, offline, events, and influencer collaborations). This includes but is not limited to advertising campaigns on Google Ads, Meta, and TikTok.

  • Creating content for marketing materials such as brochures, emails, social media posts, and advertisements.

SEO and SEM:

  • Optimizing content for search engines (SEO) to increase organic traffic.

  • Managing and executing search engine marketing (SEM) campaigns to drive paid traffic.

Social Media Management:

  • Managing social media accounts and collaborating with the team to create engaging content. Editing content for various marketing materials.

  • Ensuring all content aligns with company’s and clients’ brand voice and messaging.

  • Monitoring social media performance.

Analytics and Reporting:

  • Analyzing the performance of marketing campaigns using tools like Google Analytics, and preparing reports.

  • Measuring key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts.

Collaboration:

  • Working with clients, graphic designers, content creators, vendors, influencers, and other team members to ensure cohesive branding.

  • Collaborating with client teams to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.

Budget Management:

  • Managing marketing budgets and ensuring cost-effective strategies.

  • Tracking expenses and negotiating with vendors..

Customer Relationship Management (CRM):

  • Developing strategies to improve customer engagement and retention.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

  • 5 years of post-graduation work experience in a similar marketing role

  • Must have experience as a team member of both online and offline marketing campaigns

Skills Required:

  • Excellent written communication skills in English

  • Excellent in-person or video presentation skills

  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin and/or Cantonese)

  • Proficiency in running advertising campaigns on Google Ads and Meta Ads. TikTok Ads experience is a plus.

  • Proficiency in using social media video editing apps

  • Proficiency in MS-Office suite

  • Proficiency in marketing software (e.g., HubSpot, Iconosquare) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)

  • Time Management

Competencies Required:

  • Judge and rate teammates’ work for clients’ campaigns

  • Provide insights to clients when dealing with large data sets

  • Accurate and timely task completions

  • Articulate in cultural nuances in marketing

  • Teach others on how-to create compelling content

  • Present convincing user stories based on data

Salary Range:

$55K to $65K (depending on experience)
