The Challenge

 

To drive registrations and conversions from WeChat advertorial placements and RED Influencer organic content highlighting the special Lunar New Year dish specially created by the Chefs Plate team for the occasion.

 

Our Approach

 

We engaged 10+ Chinese influencers on RED (小红书) and sent them free kits to demonstrate how easy it is to create the Lunar New Year dish at home. Chefs Plate prides itself on how easy it is to make their recipes and the variety of cuisines one can experience with their weekly meal kits.

This was a nationwide campaign so we also created engaging content to announce the Lunar New Year dish along with a special WeChat offer for readers. Media placements went out on both WeChat and Weibo with a concentration in Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto.

 

Results

 

The conversion on website visits driven by our marketing channels outperformed every other in-language Chinese digital campaign the brand has run.
